Experience the allure of our campus culture
As a Jewish studies student, you’ll study on Arizona State University’s first and largest campus in Tempe. You’ll belong to a diverse community of scholars who are ready to live, learn, explore and discover together. Our dynamic and engaging learning environment is home to first-rate laboratories, extensive libraries, athletic facilities, performing art venues, museums and so much more.
From networking with students in Chabad, to guarding the “A” on game day, to walking down our palm tree-lined corridors, there’s so much to entertain you. You’ll also be able to explore our Sun Devil points of pride, including the beautiful Cady Fountain, the Desert Arboretum Park, Old Main and our unique university bridge.
Take advantage of our academic resources
From academic advising and mentoring to peer coaching and subject-specific tutoring, we’re here to help you succeed. When you’re a Jewish studies student in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, you’ll have access to a wide range of support services to help you overcome obstacles and achieve the academic and personal success you desire. Plus, if you live on campus all our academic resources will be just a short walk or a few steps away.
We encourage all first-year students to live in our college’s residential college. You’ll be able to make new friends who have similar academic interests while being immersed in our Sun Devil culture. We also have housing accommodations for upperclassmen who want to be community mentors or continue living on campus.
Get involved in our engaging environment
We think the best way to immerse yourself in student life and culture is by getting involved. Whether you want to enrich your Jewish studies or you’d like to partake in a new hobby, there’s something for everyone at ASU. You can check out some of our university-wide organizations – like Greek life, intramural sports and student government – or you can explore the opportunities available for students interested in Jewish clubs and events.
